  The Church’s history of virtually always being wrong on moral issues is so so sad. The crusades, slavery, science, abortion, population growth, birth control, tolerated atrocities, environment, evolution, women as priests, gay rights, child abuse… The list goes on and on with no indication of any ability to learn from past mistakes or acknowledge the existence of shades of gray in most issues.

  The Church has proven to be a dictatorship more concerned with control than anything else. I believe the church may well be the most dangerous institution on the planet. And nothing changes over 2000 years.

  It saddens me so that this continues to be tolerated.
